Yes! Each model is ISO4210-6 certified. To obtain this standard, the bikes spend 2 weeks at Bike Labs International undergoing 3 durability tests and 2 impact tests.<\/span>
In a lifetime test, a force is repeatedly applied to the bicycle frame (at the bottom bracket, front wheel axle and saddle); for example, a force of 450 N by pushing and pulling for 100,000 cycles.<\/span><\/p>\n

Ash<\/strong> is a light-colored wood that darkens slightly as it dries. It is a symbol of strength. With its straight grain and few knots, it has long been used to make handles for axes, hammers, and shovels. Its flexibility and high resilience make it an ideal wood for bending. Given its very interesting mechanical properties, it is also of interest to manufacturers of baseball bats, bows, and skis. <\/span>

Belgium certainly doesn\u2019t lack rain! To ride in all conditions, we use the same finishing techniques as luxury boats. Multiple finishing coats are applied to every Zafi bike. First, three primer coats deeply seal the frame and make it waterproof. These are followed by two coats of marine varnish to protect the wood from UV rays and knocks. <\/span><\/p>\n
